GlyphLift translates user-selected screenshots, photos, clipboard images, and camera captures. The app is designed around a screenshot-first workflow because standard iOS apps cannot continuously read other apps or draw over them.
Information We Process
The app may process images you choose, OCR text found in those images, translation metadata, selected languages, device metadata, app version, subscription entitlement state, and support messages you send. The backend is designed to store profile and usage metadata, not raw screenshots by default.
Translation Data
GlyphLift may call translation services to produce translated text. Translation session records store metadata such as language pair, text block counts, character counts, duration, and image hashes when provided. Raw screen text and images should not be stored unless a future feature clearly asks for your consent.
Payments
GlyphLift Pro subscriptions on iOS are handled by Apple through StoreKit. GlyphLift stores subscription transaction and entitlement metadata needed to unlock Pro, provide support, and manage account status. GlyphLift does not receive or store full payment card details.
Profiles and Devices
Profiles may include email, display name, language preferences, locale, time zone, app account token, device identifier, device model, OS version, and app version. This helps restore access, sync preferences, and diagnose support issues.
Privacy Requests
You can request an export or deletion of profile and backend records by emailing info@glyphlift.com or by using the support page.
